December 4, 2024, Rehoboth Beach, DE – The British Car Club of Delaware held its annual Holiday Dinner Party at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club with 40 members and guests in attendance enjoying a sit-down dinner of either Chicken Cordon Bleu or Blackened Grouper with all the complementary extras.
The party was capped off by Certificates of Appreciation given to our club members who have gone above and beyond presented by Bill Tattersall.
- Diane and Kirk Sarsfield who generously volunteered their time and energy to organize, promote, and host the British Car Club of Delaware’s annual “Crab Fest” held on September 24, 2024, at Millville by the Sea Clubhouse, “Crab Shack.”
- David Haines for setting up the “field” contributing to the success of the 28th British Motorcar Show, “The British are Coming – Again!” A combined Lewes Chamber of Commerce and British Car Club of Delaware, Inc., event on May 4, 2024.
- Lee and Mike Salino for conceiving and holding the bi-monthly drive outings for 2024. One adventure to note was the first – British Car Club of Delaware’s – three-day fall tour of the Pennsylvania Pocono’s mountains on October 8-10, 2024.
- Alan Hill to help manage BCCD’s Annual Fall Car & Motorcycle Show – a three-day event consisting of; a Cruise-in; the Car Show itself including the unique BCCD’s logo acrylic awards, and his efforts in coordinating with the Hagley Museum car show management to feature the British Car Club of Delaware September 13-15, 2024.
- Terry Young for his ongoing sustained dedication to the British Car Club of Delaware by increasing membership, promoting car club activities, increasing communications for the north and south chapters.
All presentations were rewarded by warm rounds of applause. The event was arranged by club members Geoff and Marion Sundstrom, whose coincidentally, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary the same evening. Steve Rose provided chauffer services between Victoria’s and Rehoboth Beach Country Club.
