The British Car Club of Delaware participated in the 60th Annual Wilmington Jaycees Christmas Parade, Saturday, November 30, 2024. Four (4) decorated British Cars with their hoods down braved the cold weather: Terry & Georgia Young – 1999 Jaguar XK8, Sharon Kalinowski – 1957 Triumph TR3, Rev. Richard Speck and Janet Tillman – 2006 Jaguar XK, and Tony Phillips & the Grinch – 1951 MGTD. Terry remarked: “The Parade was a hoot. Yes, it was a bit cold. People along the route loved us.” They only mishap was on the drive to Goober’s Restaurant, Terry lost his snowman and remarked “I guess you could say Frosty melted on the way to lunch.”
