Great turnout of BCCD members (11) to learn about and help get Denise Fry’s Jensen-Healey repairs done so it is ready for the 2025 driving season! Leaking cam seals on both intake and exhaust overhead cams of the Lotus 907 engine were replaced and an upgraded longer-life timing belt was installed. Denise Fry and Carol Wall provided refreshments, food & snacks (including delicious homemade items!) to make sure noone left hungry. Several folks got their hands greasy and a variety of experience with British car work was tossed at the tasks. The job was completed successfully in less than 3 hours, although many stayed for close to 4 hours because that’s what happens when car aficionados get together! Denise expressed her appreciation to all who came out and as you’ll find in one of the photos, she certified the work by checking for proper timing belt tension with a Burroughs Gauge.
Attendees included: Denise Fry, Bob Wall, George Jorgensen, John Gaito, Greg Bell, Mark Clark, Alan Hill, Duane Brown, Richard Speck, Terry & Georgia Young.
