Valley Garden Park in Greenville was the meeting point for the 2025 Northern Spring Rally. Twelve teams gathered on a beautiful spring Saturday morning to receive coffee, donuts, and directions. First off and eventual victors were Richard Speck and Janet Tillman in one of the four Jaguar XK convertibles to enjoy the drive, if not the questions.

The other XK teams included Terry and Georgia Young, David and Cathy Maule, and Mike and Lee Salino. Long time club members Sharon Kalinowski and Steve Woodman teamed up in Sharon’s Triumph TR3 after signing up as single entrants. Other participants were Bob and Carol Wall in their Jenson Interceptor, Russell Tuckerman and Karen Miller driving an MGB, father and son team, Tony and Nick Phillips in Tony’s MGB GT, and Betty Burleigh and Trevor Mees with their Jaguar XJS convertible. Brian and Joy Read together with new members Dean and Cindy Goodwin joined the group in non-British cars. Other new members to take part were Steve and Carol Moulden in their Triumph Spitfire, while Tim Weymouth arrived in his Morgan 3-Wheeler to meet the group although couldn’t stay for the rally.

After 50 miles of driving and questions, which included covered bridges, railroad crossings, cobblestone roads and trips into Wilmington and out into the Southern Chester County countryside, all the teams made the final destination for lunch at Six Paupers Tavern in Hockessin to be greeted by Rally Masters Alan and Fiona Hill.
