Thanks to Mike & Lee Salino for orchestrating a beautiful day with a backroads drive through Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, beginning at Dunkin’ in Elkton and ending at Woodside Farm Creamery for ice cream. Twenty-two folks (& 1 dog) made the trip – Mike & Lee Salino, Alan & Fiona Hill, Trevor & Betty Mees, Richard & Janet Speck, Greg & Margaret Bell, Bob & Carol Wall, Dean & Cindy Goodwin, Richard Hill & Barbara, David & Tamara Clements, Tony Phillips, Denise Fry, Ed Mengel, and Sharon Kalinowski & her new dog, Nori. Thirteen cars, including four Jaguars, a Triumph, an Alpine, a Morgan, a MGTD, a Lotus, and a Jensen were among the British cars parading the countryside and getting cheers from onlookers. Other than a minor problem with a loose cable on Tony’s MGTD, about a mile from Woodside Creamery, everyone arrived without incident. After a quick roadside repair, Tony rejoined the group for his milkshake!
